PRP + PRFM

Tap into the power of your body’s own healing factors for another option for skin rejuvenation with PRP and PRFM!

What is PRP?

PRP is a form of cosmetic injectable treatment that uses the patient’s own platelet rich plasma. The plasma component contains stem cells and growth factor rich platelets. When injected back into the skin, it accelerates the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin to provide overall skin rejuvenation.

What is PRFM?

Platelet-rich fibrin matrix, or PRFM, involves taking blood cells and spinning them. This process allows some of the white blood cells and stem cells to stay in the upper platelet layer that we collect for treatment. There is also some research that shows the growth factor activity stimulated by platelet-rich fibrin matrix lasts longer, which may provide better results.

What areas can you be treated with PRP or PRFM?

  • Under eyes
  • Hair loss and volume loss
  • Aging, sagging skin
  • Loss of elasticity or collagen
  • Scarring, acne scars, keloids
  • Stretch marks and fine lines
  • Wrinkles

What’s the difference between PRP and PRFM?

The procedures are essentially the same, but there end up being more growth factors in PRFM than we would typically see in PRP. Additionally, the individual blood cells remain more intact allowing more of these beneficial stem cells to remain in the final PRFM product.

How does PRP and PRFM help the under eyes?

PRP and PRFM treatments for the under eye area is a regenerative treatment. It will stimulate your own collagen and elastin and regeneration of new healthy skin tissue for gradual, natural and real results. The most common concerns that are treated are under eye pigmentation or dark circles, hallows, fine lines, wrinkles and poor texture, loss of elasticity and bags.

Both PRP and PRFM can improve skin texture and tone, reduce fine lines and scarring, and stimulate collagen and skin cell production for a plumper, more radiant complexion!
